Clancy, death is such a universal experience yet few write of it from the perspective of youth. Violent ends especially leave us breathless and questioning and the suggestion of self harm is thick in this piece. I have more to say on this subject but won’t for the sake of focusing on your writing, not my experience. Thanks as always for this provocative piece.
